Teaching is a common thing and we know how to do it, but actually teaching is kinda hard for me. When I came to the situation which my mom asked me to be teached on a technical things, I didn’t realize that I’m not good enough, not patient enough to give a technical guidance to my mom. But after some reading research and summary, I keep it a note like this. When you didn’t know how to teach about specific things, here is my summary:
- Believe that they are able to do that
- Praise in every wrong way and good way they do
- Make a good vibe and don’t create a judgement vibe
- Create a (gosh! again) note of progress of your teaching, milestone, task, accomplishment which possibly easy to be reviewed later. Find which part that did not work, which part that does work. At the end you can improve your way of teaching by understanding the student spontantly.
- Teach them to be independent / self-learner so they can walk by their own way later.
